How do i post pictures
..the icons are greyed out

Grayed out, or just lighter than normal?
I have never seen that happen.

the Picture Icon you want, has the shape of a Mountain Profile, just to the right of the Chain Line fence looking Icon.

The Pictures must be of a format that can be uploaded, jpeg, jpg, png
click on the Icon, and then click on the new popup, browse to the pictures and Double Click or highlight and click the OPEN button.

. I have to ask, are you using a Cellphone, or a PC ?

Every thing that I told you before is still true.
you must follow through with the steps.

scroll the post down to the Icon that looks like a mountain, click on it and you will see this ( image from my cellphone )

you have to press the DROP HERE symbol to access the pictures on your phone.
on my phone, it asks if I want to select a picture, or Files?

I select Pictures and the last picture taken is what I see first. Press on the picture you want to upload.
wait for it to upload, and then press POST REPLY.

Please note, you have two ways of posting a picture, the full image, or as Thumbnails.

Thumbnails are neat, as you can click on it and it goes Full Screen.

I just happened to think,
are you using TapaTalk???
if so, what I said is Rubbish, and IMO, TapaTalk is Rubbish.

I use Firefox on my Cellphone and the appearance is Precisely the same as using a PC.
