:claps:

hooray for them. I will never forget the long honeymoon that my wife and I took in a C-172.

Hutchinson, KS was home base.

OKC to visit with my parents,
Wichita Falls to visit with my grandparents,
Hobbs, NM to visit with my uncle and aunt.

Tucson, AZ for a week of fun, toured all the tourist sites, movie sets, rented one of the Pontiac Firebirds like in the movies that Burt Reynolds drove :)

coming back home, slid up over the mountain pass and hit severe up/down drafts on the east side..... wild ride that was to get to ground level.

followed the RR tracks about 100 feet AGL all the way to El Paso, TX.... spent a couple days there, and back tracked to Kansas...... one of those things that is just as bright in my mind now, as when we did it...... sigh, she passed Jan 2017 of diabetes infections beyond control.
