i got one piston out by pumping the rear brake slowly but the other did not come out. do you think wrapping it with something and using channel locks will work?

anything else to be helpful for my first brake rebuild.



the one looks like it is corrosive free inside and out. new seals are on the way.

Put it back in..then block if off so it can't come all the way out then pump again and the other will move when both are almost all the way remove block and wiggle them both out the last 1/8"

PS fill the cup with fluid first that will speed up the process.

RB is correct. I have seen a thread where a bolt was modified and a zerk inserted to use grease as the pressure medium, but have not found necessary. I use a small C-clamp and place a rag on the out side of the caliper to keep from marking that. A small piece of flat bar, placed across the cup,keeps the "held" cup properly aligned.
