I have GL1500 Rotor Covers on my GL1200 and I use
Windex Multi Surface Sparkling Orange Cleaner
and a soft cloth on them and it seems to work ok. The acid in the citrus seems to cut the dirt ok and so far, it has not affected the chrome.
Plus it gives your covers a nice citrus / orange smell. :goofygrin:
