Gday everyone i need to replace the rubber gromits that hold the plastic sideplates on my 88 1500 can someone from the brains trust point me to the right parts link please

i would also like to suggest installing a set of rudy`s keeper kits . cheap insuance . you can find them at the wanted/for sale page.

Or a couple of zip-ties looped through the frame and the side cover stubs will do the same thing, just leave them loose enough to still pull the covers and access behind them, but not so loose that the covers fall to the pipes.

Also be sure to make some leashes for the side box lids and anything else that could come off the bike.

Rudy's keeper kits are what you need. They are made for the job and don't cost a lot. Cheap insurance IMHO.
