Please don't tell me you're serious....
all depends on what this guy says. would only show up with cash in hand and after seeing all paperwork and the bike then maybe. Will I send him anything ...... hell know. I have seen some strange stuff on the island though that ended up being legit.

But yea for the age and price I'm leaning towards scam.
I am 100% sure the bike is nowhere near HI first of all. But pay the money with a cashiers check to the scammer, and he'll ship it to you for free! Which, as you know, can be very expensive across the Pacific.

Price way too low for the shape it's in, price is almost always some weird number, a G-Mail account is very common with scammers (rarely do they have you e-mail through CL like normal). Never a phone contact. The license plate is either missing, or is covered up. The bike is real, but it belongs to someone else and was likely already sold months ago, hence the pictures.

Even is sold by an individual, always listed as By Dealer, that way the ad stays up longer.

You'd be surprised to see how many ads I see in Central Texas for a 4 wheeler with a snowblower or snow blade attached. Or pics with palm trees in the background, etc...

Scam bikes usually don't stay posted around Austin long, they get flagged fairly quickly, but I think CL is falling down and changing the flagging policy..

Where I send the check for this one......

yea I'm pretty sure the bike is somewhere else. price is a dead give a way
Both are scams.
I had same experience with one I found on Craigslist I Des Moines, Iowa. I knew it was a scam because I had just been looking on E-Bay and the exact same trike was on there, same picture except from the guy who sells trikes all the time in Georgia. I emailed them back to see what they had to say. I got a email back saying the trike had belonged to her late husband and she was just trying to get rid of it. I answered her email and told her I would drive up the next day and pick it up, about 250 miles. Her return email was that she had to leave Des Moines to be with her mother who was sick and was now living in Topeka, Ks and the trike was in storage there. I emailed her back saying that was great cause I only live about 30 minutes from Topeka so I could just come down and ride it home. NEVER HEARD ANOTHER WORD, HARD TO BELIEVE HUH
