Hi All,

i ordered my Progressive mono tubes, all-balz stem bearing and a air-filter for my 01 1800 (due the 18th, i think i'll do the wheel bearings too while i'm there) when i replaced the fork fluid on my 86 1200 it took me 2 Hrs to get the fork caps back on......so this time i looked into the tool loaner program to set if a spring compressor is available, i found first that i don't have enough post to qualify and second someone said on the 1800 its not needed ! can you guy's confirm this? that would be great news for me.....

thanks,

Happy Holidays!

No, you don't need any kind of spring compressor for an 1800.
very cool......thank you.
I hope you'll post back with your impressions once you have the cartridges/bearings in. It's an idea I'm toying with myself.
