I am going to look at a 1993 Goldwing Interstate tomorrow, it has 35.000 miles and appears to be in good condition from the pictures. Is there anything i really to look at,that might be a problem with these bikes?

Thank you

Thanks all, I am 6'5 @ 260 lbs reverse is not that big of a deal to me. I will miss having a cruise control, although after market will work fine. I am leaving in the morning for a 12 hours round trip drive to pick it up. I borrowed a buddies trailer to make it easier. It has 33,000 miles and ready to go. I love the color. Thank you all for your help. John

13 hours round trip, rain, snow, sleet, freezing rain and some sun shine on the way home. It has a throttle lock, hitch. Long day, things i see it needs are tires, battery, oil change, fork seals, although i got it for a pretty good deal. Time to spend some money. Do they make a tall persons seat, I sit to forward with my long legs. Gotta find some new highway pegs. Its going to clean up very nice. Very purdy !!!

Thanks all, instead of highway boards do they make pegs for the same. My legs are so long i would rather rest them on/over a peg so i can straighten them out.

I finally figured out the battery charger was not charging so I put a new battery charger on it and finally took it out for a ride yesterday and the bike runs perfect.

As much as i love the bike, I do not fit on it right. Way to tall for a goldwing, If i had the money i would update the seat, bars, foot pegs.

This bike is for sale, going to buy a Yamaha Roadliner S,

Jerry, I had a Harley roadglide for 4 years that had a lot more room than the goldwing, the floor boards were postioned further forward. The goldwing has no room at all for tall people. There is bearly enough room for boots to fit onto the floor pegs.

For you to make a comment about to tall for a goldwing, (never heard that) you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Sorry to say i learned the hard way.

Love the engine, love how it rides, but the Japs have no idea how to make a roomy bike. If i could put this engine in my old roadglide that would be a bike. I will buy another goldwing someday, when i can afford to modify the bike to fit my body.

Peace
