I have a 1996 Goldwing SE and I sent my radio in to have an input added and now it sounds distorted sometimes, but some stations sound fine. It seems to be through all speakers. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

First welcome to the forum.

Where did you get the modification done (was it done by Siera Electronic), is the trouble on tuner or with aux input as well.

Also, keep the 'bonus sound' button off unless the station is very clear or you are running a tape/aux line in. What letters are on that thing anyway- AMP, AMS, whatever.

I did have the input done by Sierra Electronics. It seems to only be when I am on the tuner. The radio comes in and out. Sometimes it is clear and sometimes it is static or vibrating the speakers. Can you tune these radios? I reinstalled it myself after having the input on it and I do not remember having the problem before then. Thanks for the comment on the antenna connector. I did try that and it seems to be connected.
