Question for Wayne at Sierra

As everyone knows I've tried 2 different cb units on my 82 Clarion 2 audio system. The first one doesn't recieve worth a hoot and the 2nd one doesn't transmit properly.

Now here is the situation. I have the cb, intercom, and radio turned on. mic volume adjusted. Now when I key the mic for the cb and the controls are set to headsets, I hear my voice at a very high volume that almost blows my ears off! How can I adjust or mute it to a bearable level and still transmit voice over the cb?

BTY, I'll be sending one of the cb's to Sierra for repair later this fall or winter, I've rigged a Cobra car style cb in the left fairing pocket for now with an external speaker so I can hear it at highway speeds.

the mic adjustment -- there is no gain adjustment on the cb mic what your hearing is the intercom. turn it off and see.
