Hey guys how often do you replace the radiator hoses. My 1500(1993) has around

64,000 miles on it , and I noticed a couple of drops of anitfreeze by the clamps. I figure the hoses must be getting hard and brittle. I'm afraid if I tighten them I'll mess up the radiator's.:?

hi i have the same milage on my bike 91 and the hoses are fine i think once you can squeese the hose its all right they may need just to be tighten slightly because of expansion over time

Just changed my belts and coolant at 70,000 and mine are in good shape. You may want to warm the bike up and then snug the clamps a bit.

Trust me,,,,, if they didn't look good to me, I wouldn't hesitate to change them.

Thanks guys: I'll try to squeeze the hoses and see how they feel and try to tighten.
