I believe the one you saw in ebay is for Japanese model, not Europe. The frequency range is 76 MHz to 90 MHz. It won't fit Europe or American model.

Btw, I'm riding an American model, and have friends riding Europe model, both radio frequency range are 88 MHz to 108 MHz. Also I notice the Europe model does not has the CB button.

Yes both American and European radios run between 88 and 108 ,BUT in Europe we use the half measures as well ,,for example 88.5 whereas on the American radio it is only 88 and 89 no half way ,and a lot of the European stations are on frequencies with half a mhz in it ,For example here in Ireland we have stations on 100.5, 98.5 etc etc , The European on has more Stations to capture . I am not sure what one is on EBAY but if it is Japanese then steer clear as it will only work on one or 2 stations max ,Ciaran

I can get 88.5 on my FM radio (KPLU in the Seattle/Tacoma area). US FM frequencies are set at every .1MHz, not every 1MHz.

I think US model are set at every 0.2 MHz interval, and only at odd number. E.g. 88.1, 88.3, 90.5, 101.3 etc, it can't set to 95.0, 98.0, 99.2 etc.
I'm riding 2000 GL1500 and 2002 GL1800, both are US model.
Both of them can't set to my favour radio station 95.0 here :(
