Good chance, that's a perennial problem with that radio. Do a search in the box above on 'radio' or 'radio connector' and you'll see quite a bit of discussion about it.Sounds very much like the connector on the back of the Panasonic radio. This part is notourious for this. You can pull the radio and after spraying the contactor with tuner cleaner use a small screw driver to lift the prongs. Will ususally work great for another 20K.
