Radio Presets GL1500

My brother just got a 89 wing and the radio presets go away and have to be reset the next day. They seem to stay for a time as we went for a ride yesterday and stopped 3 or 4 times and they were still there but this morning they are gone again! I seem to remember seeing a thread on this before but don't seem to be able to find it. This bike has 100K miles and is going to take some work. He is very happy as it only cost $2000 and we feel it still has lots of life left. It gets new tires tomorrow and we have already put seafoam in the gas. This is going to be a great project!
Thanks
Bill

I seem to recall there is a fuse for the radio presets. I am not sure which one right now. Check to make sure all your fuses are pushed in tight and making good contact.

Fuse # 9, called "Back Up" fuse is for the memory of Clock, CB, andRadio presets, and for Trunk Light if installed.
