Does anyone know where I can get a rain cover for a seat for an 85 Aspy? I would really like to keep the sheepskin dry as it such a pain to take it off all the time. I saw one advertised somewhere once, but now I can't find it.

I just use a piece of red tarp that was warn out, so I cut a piece to fit my seat and a couple of bungies when it looks like rain:cool:

I guess I am just a cheapskate...but it works:coollep:

go to the hardware store, ask if you can have a couple packaging wraps the tarps come in, they are made from the same material the tarps are.

Take them home and cut a pattern somewhat like the outer shape of the seat Make it a little bigger than your seat though, Now take it over to mom or granny (someone who knows how to use a sewing machine)

Have them sew some elastic stips around the outer edge of the tarp, this will now fit your seat properly and also be usable to ride on in the rain to protect the sheepskin if needed.

If its Raining hard enuf to want to cover the seat/forums/images/emoticons/shock.gif... and I am Not under a motel overhang... then I want the seat ,the Speepskin, AND the electronics, and the false tank  ALL covered/forums/images/emoticons/emoticonsxtra/grinner.gif... anything that I , or parts of my body might touch, and get wet ..... This works for me.. It is pocket size, and dries in a trice, and keeps it all dry :                                                                                       http://www.tourkingcovers.com/                                                                                                                                                     SilverDave /forums/images/emoticons/emoticonsxtra/cooldj.gif

Personally I'm planning on buying a half cover, it doesn't take up as much room when stowed, and covers what needs to be covered.
