My GL1800 Motor Trike would not back up my service ramps. I got a full 1 inch thick oak board and cut it in half. Now being not as steep it will go up the ramp. I now have 6 1/2 additional inches off the floor. I can crawl under the trike and feel safe.

The board was moved, it goes to the top of the ramp.

The front wheel goes on a 6 x 6 after jacking it up.

As you can see the 6 1/2 inches makes a lotta difference.

Does anyone know what this is? It's located next to the universal at the drive shaft.

Nice job there. Amazing what 6" opens up to access. I made some 6-1/4 inch high 11"14" "riser" blocks for the rear wheels and a third for the front that had a trough for the front tire, the ramp portions for the rear are removable once the rear was on them risers. Jacked the front then, slid the front riser in place. To back up mine, I stood beside the trike, engine running, my leg against the right rear fender and me leaning into the fender, it backs up fine.
