Put a mentos in each tray as you freeze it.

Serve Diet Coke at your party.

As the ice melts, your guest have their drinks explode!

When I was a very small kid my father and I were eating in a crowded caffeteria type restaurant, naturally bing a little kid I was gripping about everything, including the taste of my bottle of coke. Without thinking my father quickly dropped two sugar cubes into my bottle 'to sweeten it for me' and turned back to his plate.

Two seconds later that bottle exploded in a jet of soda that shot straight up from the table (in the center of the large room) hit the ceiling and then showered down on everyone around us.

We made a hasty retreat to the parking lot and fled the scene.

As I understand it, it works best with diet coke. Other's will work, but won't give you as much spray.
