Both of my side bags are broken. Was just wondering if a full fender from another bike could be used as I do not need storage.

Forgot! 1986 aspy

The other Vic Thanks

There was a 1200 Standard ( no fairing or bags ) . Not sure how many but quite likely some in parts . Surely there would be other fenders you could adapt . I'd have to look , I might have an 1100 rear fender .

That would be great Mike.

I know I would also have to come up with some simple blinker and brake lite.

I had an '84 Standard last year that I fixed up. I took a bunch of pictures that you can see here and here. They might help you out in your endeavours.

I bet that standard fender would fit an 86 also.

Especially since I've fixed all my electrical problems

and have a big hammer

Yeah it should fit fine. all of the GL1200's had the same frame as far as I know.

Lol on the big hammer. :D
