Can anyone tell me how much resistance the 1500 air shock absorber should have when of the bike with no air in the system and no fluid as well mine is very easy to push in and pull out, (no rebound or compression at all).



I am also on replacing the seals but if the shock is shot there is no point.

That's normal, the air shock is just that, it acts as an air spring so without air pressure the piston moves easily up and down in the shock.
