I would like to add rear speakers to my'98 Aspencade (did'nt come from factory with any). It looks like all of the kits come with a fader control. Does this fader have to be used when installing these speakers? Also I've noticed that some folks have rear speakers and the harness on Ebay from the SE models. Would those hook-up to the Aspencade harness?

You need the fader control, that's why the kits come with it. You can use the SE speakers and harness, but the fader control is built into the handlebar controls on the SE and they are different to the Aspencade.

Just put a set on my 96 aspy I got mine on e-bay had fader it was easier then I thought. All the plugs are already there and installed the fader knob thru the blank plate where a cb would go looks good and sounds good. Hal
