Hi anyone,

I need to replace my two rear speakers on my 1500. Is there a specific procedure on how to do it and how do I go about it?

Can I use any type of speaker?

Unscrew the three screws under the speaker pod
open the trunk and remove the one screw going from the lid next to the hinge through the speaker pad.

That will allow you to lift the pod off and detach the speaker wires from the speaker
Then it's just 4 speaker screws.

You need a 4" waterproof speaker back there unless you do something weird like I did.
