Just bought used 2003 without rear speakers, Is the system prewired so that I can just add speakers or do I need to purchase a wire harness?

The wiring connector is under the saddle, and new aftermarket speakers will come with the harness to plug into it.

yuppers, what Ted said. Its in one of the two large black boots, right next to the frame cross bar. Just watch the trunk hinge for wire pinching, when jumping into the enclosure
