Today I undertook a change of the rear tire. Not too bad, all in all, but it was a bit stubborn breaking the bead of the old one. One side came off nicely, but the other side was real, real stubborn.

Afterwards, the balance thing... well, it also went well. Didnt need to add any weights at all. On my shakedown run, I rode it up to 40 for a bit, then 50, then 60 and finally 70. Smooth all the way.

I also rebuilt the front master cylinder today. It was dripping on my fairing. Its amazing how much the brake fluid eats into the plastic.

Its nice to have all this done. Just in time to break in the tire, then head to the 1sst Annual WestCoast Wingnuts Jamboree and Mosquito Roundup.
