My first post and a new owner so please be kind.

:waving:I followed the excellent advice about rear wheel removal and have one small problem. :(When I lifted the trunk assembly the two lugs joining the rear fenders broke. :DHas this happened to anyone else or is it just my bike? :?The only way I can see to prevent this breakage is to remove the four main bolts and slide the trunk assy' back a couple of inches to clear the lugs on the fender, push the fender gently down and move the trunks forward and replace the top bolts. The trunk assy' can then be lifted without any damage. ;):)Do it in reverse when you put it back on. :)I hope this advicehelps prevent any breakages in the future. :clapper:

Thanks for the welcome. The names Jim and I live in the UK. I'm new to wings but not to motorcycling. I recently purchased a 1500 wing with an EZS sidecar, circa 1991 with only 3500 genuine miles on the clock. It looks brand new and rides very nice. Just replaced the original tyres for safety.

You also need to change the timing belts.
