im looking to rebuild my 85 gl1200 engine. but other than the dealer where could i buy parts. maybe on line some where? thanks for any help.

BikeBandit is where I have gotten most of my stuff and never had a problem. There is also Western Honda, who I hear is good to deal with as well.

Good luck and have fun rebuilding, it really is a good experience to do something like that.

Bike bandit are good people, they have the best website with very clear diagrams of parts too, in fact several other online sites link to Bikebandits pictures for ordering parts.

Best of all they donate a portion of profits to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (Ride for Kids) every year and if you are ordering from them be sure to pick up one of their cargo nets too, they make them themselves and donate all of the profits made above their costs to the PBTF.

I'm glad you put that in unionjk, I didn't know that about them. I'll be sure to see what else I need as soon as the CFO goes on her vacation next week......
