OK, I pulled the rear tire last night and it's going in this morning to get the new tire mounted and balanced.

Many thanks to GSMacLean for that great walk through on the process.

Anyway, the airshock on the right side is leaking oil and I'm thinking it's a good time to rebuild them, if it's possible. Any advice as to whether the rebuilding the seals will take care of this, and how big of a job is it. I've seen it mentioned from time to time but no real information as to what it will and won't cure.

Usually just the oil seal is all you will need. atf fluid is what the mfr uses in the shock. I used a pipe clamp and a piece of 1 1/2" pvc drain pipe to compress the shock a little and remove the circle clip on the bottom. If you have a on board compressor, use it to blow the seal out of the shock into a bucket....... and your off and running. The first shock took me about 45 min to do..... second one was half that time.

There is a pictorial posted by a fellow I think that goes by "Gambler" that is very good. I think it was Gambler...........
