What are people's thoughts here on adding carb cleaner to a tank of gas every once in a while? I do this with my car, but thought I'd check here first before adding to my 1500.

Best be careful what type you choose. Most of them will dissolve the rubber o-rings and diaphragms in the m/c carbs.

Best to stick with a known forum advised product, like Sea Foam and Marvel Mystery Oil.

Berryman's B-12 is okay for a quick blast thru the throat, but don't be putting it in the tank. It will be bad news on rubber parts.

I only use it on equipment that has been stored for long periods of time (~ 9 months or more), or rarely if the fuel system seems to have crud problems, like if you suspect you bought some nasty fuel from a bad retailer.

I just brought my pressure washer home from 2 years of storage, and will be pouring some seafoam in the tank before starting it. I did add that "Stabil" to the tank before puttin' 'er ta bed back then...:waving:
