is there a tutorial on removing the upper fairing? ive removed about all the plastic except the front, looks pretty complex. lots of wires going into it on the left side. thanks.
Remove the three screws on the 'lowers' then there are 4 nuts under the headlight, they have Philips screws inside the fork area which you need a short right angle Philips to hold them with. unplug the wire harness and have an extra person to hold the fairing as you remove the 4 10mm nuts, 2 each side under the fairing that hold it to the fairing frame mount, inside of where the lowers mount to the fairing. It just lifts off after all screws and nuts are removed. After you remove the lowers, if you have an intercom system remove the false tank shroud to unplug the intercom harness to the rear and free the front I/C harness.
Antenna connection is under the false tank shroud also.
