Was going to go with the Dunlop E3 until I saw the Continental Milestone on a 1200. They look great and I was told the handle great.

i dont mind the noise of the E3, i cant hear it at all only while braking, i dont buy a tire for its "looks"

:waving:The Avon Venom is a very good high mileage tire. I have them on my '83 Interstate and after over 10,700 miles they show very little wear andI expect to get many more miles before I need to replace them. The bike handles very good and there is no road noise with the Venom tires. Below is a link to the Avon site showing the tires for you GL1200.
