A tutorial is right here on the site:
http://www.goldwingfacts.com/1500windshieldremoval.htm
Release the windshield adjustment lever (the one for adjusting it up and down).
Dislodge the rubber around the mirrors.
Dislodge the painted piece around the mirrors.
Pull the mirrors back.
Remove two screws (one either side) at the end of the large chrome cover.
Remove that chrome cover, it sit down on a couple tabs above the headlight. Slide it sideways.
Now you will see the screws that mount the windshield.
Sometimes the screws can be very tight, if so, give them a little tab and that will help to loosen them up. Use a large screw driver.
Oh........one other thing..............
Check your headlights and position light bulbs. That's the small lights on either side of the headlights. If any are burned out, now is the time to replace them.
You would only need to remove the little chrome piece under the headlight (2 screws) then remove four bolts and slide the headlight assembly forward.
Hint....amber colored bulbs really look good in those position lights. Two bulbs can be used (194 or 168). The 168's are slightly brighter.
