I know there is a simple answer but I need it anyway. How do I remove the headlight from the Vetter Fairing? It's on an 81 GL1100.

Get the service manual for your bike. You'll have everything and more.

on the vetter---it will depend on the model and year of the vetter . if it is a plastic ring on the head lite ring look for a black tab on the bottom of it---if so push in on it an rotate the ring couter clockwise--thats faceing the bike--remove the reflector bowl loosen blub retaing clips an remove blub. dont touch the glass part of the bulb as it will casuse a hot spot an burn out.

Thanks, yep the tab is on the bottom. I would have never figured this one out. Thanks again for the help.
