Hi All,

Just returned to this site after a long absence.

About my rides . . .

A 1978 Goldwing GL1000 and a 2007 Vulcan Nomad. I ride both, but enjoy the Goldwing in particular. I am always amazed that the bike is over thirty years old and runs so well. It also has features on it that a lot of modern bikes just don't have nowadays.

Anyway, glad to be back and look forward to reading the forums.

Don

Morning Everybody (8:00 am here in Nevada),

The email welcomes I saw are greatly appreciated. As I remember it, the people on this site are more than willing to help others both with technical issues and just plain good information. That is still the case today as I see it.

I am getting ready to put the Goldwing on the lift to start work on the back end of the bike (did the same on the front end some time ago). Since I bought the bike, I have been going over it from the front to rear tire, bringing things back up to speed mechanically. There is ALWAYS something to do on a bike, even if it is just looking at things to see if they are working as they should.

With this in mind, I am looking forward to getting advise and talking things over with folks when I start the work. I always learn something new when I get into these projects.

Thanks for the warm welcome . . . Don
