Did you strip the whole cap, if it is just a few threads and if you have the tools you can chamfer the leading or damaged threads into good ones by putting a 45 degree or so chamfer on the end of the threads.

The problem is, I do not have the right tools, the first 2-3 threads are bad but I may try to get it fixed . Honda no longer sells them, I foud. Doug

You need the one with only the air line fitting ? If I have one its off an 83 . I'll look today .

I tried again today, filed it and installed it ok so now I am good to go. But thanks for the offers eveyone. Doug
