TJ, My friends own a cycle apparel shop,so they can use anything they want to. He and she use the Kilamanjaro and never stop raving about them. They ride year round and don't stop for the rain. He particularly likes the length because it covers his lower back when reaching for the bars. I use the First Gear Magnum. A waist length jacket with removable liner. It's great. Warm enough by itself except in the VERY cold and without the liner great for the cool summer evenings. Very waterproof except in the hardest and longest rains. I rode 4 days in a NS downpour and the only leaking came through the zippered vents in the bicep and on the chest alongside the main zipper. (It was extreme conditions and the leaking was minimal) I also use the First Gear over pants with removable liner. Hope this helped.
