Rigging a utility trailer for camping/Wing towing

I am wrapping up work on a 6 x 12 Utility trailer which I converted for camping (bed, tables, porti-pot, electric) and now I am installing a wheel chock for my 84 GL1200A.

I have installed a Pingel WC650 Removable chock. Does anyone have a suggestion for the locationon the bike forthe Front Tie down straps? The most accessible area is around the engine crash cage, but I would prefer to compress the front suspension if at all possible.

I wrap my tie down strap around the bottom tripple tree. (The bottom clamps that hold the forks to the steering support) This will allow you to compress the front suspension.

I actually use a nylon soft strap with a loop on each end around the tripple tree and hook my tie down strap hook through the soft strap loops.

Thanks Jeff!

I'll head on out to the garage and see how this works!

That was the original plan...

I don't think of it as haulin' - I think of it as being able to bring my Wing wherever I go!
