Hi All

I've been having problems with my RM-1100 radio fitted to my GL1200

I've found that a wire has snapped off the 24 way large blue external Socket.

Has anybody found a way of removing a pin from these beasts so that I can re-solder it back on? There does not appear to be anybody in England that repairs these radios.

Thanks in Advance

Not sure about the socket your talking about but most electrical plug pins have have a small strip that prevents the pin from falling out. I have had success by using a small needle and prying this strip inwards then you can push the pin back out from the rear of the plug.
Take a bright light and look down the plug usually you can see where you need to pry.

BOL :)
