Not sure about the socket your talking about but most electrical plug pins have have a small strip that prevents the pin from falling out. I have had success by using a small needle and prying this strip inwards then you can push the pin back out from the rear of the plug.
Take a bright light and look down the plug usually you can see where you need to pry.
