I need to run a cable from the battery or fuse box to the handle bars for a gps on a 07 gw. I am new to the gold wing and not familiarwith taking things apart on this bike. The shadow was a little less complicated or maybe less intimidating. Is there any picture that can assist me in removing the seat and and other parts to do this?

And also I would like to replace my stock mirrors with Muth turn signals. Again I think I can do this if I hadpictures to guide me.

if you look under the handle bars you will see there is a filler strip held on by a bolt(s), you will also see the other wires that go down it, remove the strip and place your wiring in with them, follow the other wires and make sure you leave enough slack to allow the bars to move, tie rap them onto existing. You will need to remove the plastic part around the clocks and the fairing pocket on the left side, consult the manual above for this. Then you should be able to fish the wires past the dummy tank and to the battery. Its not dificult to remove the bits i have described. If you mean the mirrors with the turn signal built in or at the side, these are all plug and play type system and plugs into connections already in you mirror housing.

To remove seat. Pop off your bag lids. the weather stripping on the frame side of the bag will lift up to reveal cut outs in the top of the fiberglass bag. you need an allan key to fit the bolts. one on both sides. your seat is also adjustable forward or back by these bolts.

Muth mirrors are a simple -one screw -installation plus plug+play wiring is very easy following provided instructions.

Seat removal is easy also--just remove the four bolts holding the passenger grip bars-grasp rear of seat -lift and pull slightly to rear to pull seat out of front fastener
