Hi,



I use SOS pads for cleaning rusty chrome parts. It does a great job and the blue soap in it keeps the dirt/rust from settling back on the metal until you rinse it off.



If there has been a larger area where the chrome has come of (like in my case on my trunk rack) I used my wife’s “Chrome fingernail polish” to touch it up. I did large areas with it (several the size of quarters) and I have never had anyone notice even when looking at that part of the bike.



When it’s all done, I put a coat of good wax on everything.
