Hey all I bought my first wing last month its a 84 interstate runs very well has 33k new stator last march bike justhas some cosmetic issues one being the seat threads are comming apart so I decided to replace the seat this month.

I am looking to buy a Saddleman sofa gel seat for this bike it costs 380.00 and includes the pan and passenger backrest that mounts to the trunk.

Whats your opinion on this seat for my bike?

I had a Travlecade/Saddleman Roadsofa on my 89. It had the gel inserts in it. It was a huge improvement over the stock seat. I dont know how different the Saddleman seat is from the 1200 to the 1500, but either way its going to be better than the stock seat. The gel inserts are for riders weighing over 150 lbs. They make the seat feel much harder but are more comfortable. The gell inserts will get hot in the summer so cover the seat with something when the bike is sitting in the sun.
