Let me get this strait...
It's not safe for me to be talking on the cell phone, while drinking a brew, changing the channel, with the throttle locker on, and steering with my feet?

Seriously though guys... You can be the safest driver on the road, but you are only one-half of the equation. For when that other half comes into play, please ALWAYS wear your gear. If it hadn't ben for my JR jacket and leather chaps, I'd most likely have a broken elbow, and be missing part of my thigh. I spent over a half hour with my helmet a 10 magnifier, and my mechanic's stethescope. First visually inspecting, and then doing the knock test. (Knock on it with your knuckles, and listen for any abnormalities that would indicate a sub-surface crack). I did this even though there are no scratches on the helmet just to be safe. As soon as I have the $$ it will be replaced along with my jacket.
