Has anyone done a conversion from the sealed beam head light (1980 GL1100 w/Vetter fairing) to the newer H4 Halogen bulb? There are conversion kits online for $25- $60 for 2, and I'm wondering if this is a good idea. Will the H4 bulb pull more joice than the sealed beam. I assume it will be brighter...

I'm makingmy the Christmas wish list formy wife, and though this might be nice....

on my friends 1100, the sealed h4 looks pretty much like an old VW bug. you just need to buy the old VW bug lamp for h4 and it will be ready to go for xenon or any other h4.

That ebay item is a good price.
Then go get a Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulb, keep the one they supply as a spare.
