I didn't think that triking the bike would change how the seat fits.

What caused the difference?

Over a few weeks and spending time on the phone with Ultimate the dealer they inform me that every trike kit is the same leaving the factory but every installer might build the trike kit a little different. Ultimate said it would not fit unless there was some major fabrication and even suggested that I bring it to one of their shops or to Daytona so they could fit it.

I just dont want to start moving and changing the seat if in fact this seat is not what I wanted. Better to try and sell to someone wthout a trike and they can enjpy a great seat - the model from ultimate that is the same as mine sells for around $1200.

Wow thats a new one on me,Matter of fact my travelcade seat will fit on a friend of mines trike he just got a motor trike.Trunk and side covers never moved?

WOW, NEW ONE TO ME ALSO, AS I HAVE A TRIKE AND NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL....MAYBE SOMEONE AT THE FACTORY HAD A BAD DAY ON THE ASSEMBLY LINE....GOOD LUCK...WIZARD0520
