I installed a new Corbin master's seat with heat on my 2012 GL1800 and it works for around :10 then quits. If I turn off the bike and then restart it, the seat will work again and then it again shuts off, requiring I restart my bike to reset it. Any ideas? This is the second seat from Corbin and the original seat works perfectly. There's a thought that Honda changed there wiring for 2012????

Is it possible that there is some sort of timer built into the seat to prevent battery drain and after 10 minutes they want you to turn the seat switch back on? Did you call corbin and ask them what the problem might be????

Something about the aftermarket seats disagrees with the Honda system, you are not the first to report this. There is no difference in the '12 wiring from the previous models.
