Lurked around for a couple of days as I searched the forum for some dismantling information about the Wing.
Always a Honda rider, I started with a 1975 CB 500, moved to a 1981 CB 450 Hawk, traded it in for a 1981 CX 500, and then traded that in for a fully dressed 1980 GL 1100 Interstate, after adding $1,800.00 worth of chrome and goodies sold it and acquired a 1982 CB 900, quit biking for ten years and then got back into it with a 1981 GL 500 Silverwing Interstate [hence the nickname]and have now acquired a nice 1983 GL 1100 Interstate.
The new bike has a few chrome options on it but I am adding more even as we speak, ordering items from Sabre Cycle, JC Whitney and Chrome World.
I pulled a home made cargo trailer with the Silverwing and will be pulling it with the new wing as soon as I get the new hitch mounted to the bike [and if the snow melts].
