I feel totally lost. I am waiting for a copy of an owners manual for my Interstate. The PO didn't leave the original and I am trying to figure out how to set the preset radio channels for the radio.

HELP!!!

Find the station you want, press "M" on the console, you'll see a flashing "ch" on the display, press "PRO/CH" on the console to choose which of the 6 preset stations you want then press "M" again.

Problem is mine is an Interstate and doesn't have an "M" on the console. Also doesn't have a cassette player.

on my friends 1500 interstate is not the volume knob... on the tune lever on the left handlebar side. push the up and will increase frequency, push and hold lever down to save channel, push one time to change channels, you can see which channel you are on the small radio display. so.. lets say, select channel you want to program a station pushing then search through the frequency and once you find the station you want to save, push and hold lever down till you hear a bip
push again to change to the next channel memory and again search ur frequency and save it holding lever down.

What William-86 said. There are 6 presets look at your radio I think it is in the top left hand corner that displays which number preset you are on push the selector button on the left handle bar up to find the station you want when you have found the station push down and hold the selector button until it makes a loud beep it will then be set for that station, then push down again to go to preset number 2 again push up on selector until you find the second station you want then again push down until beep just remember after you set the station each time you must then push down to advance to the next preset. It will show which one you are at on the radio. Then to find your stations after you have set them all just push down and it will go from 1 through 6 moving once at each push. I hope this helps Roy

Qudos to William. I found the "M" on the lower section of the mount on the left handlebar. Once I got to the station I wanted I just held the channel button down until it beeped and set the channel. It only took a few minutes to set all 6.

Thanks again!!!!
Thanks for your post- I too don't have an owner's manual for my 1996 SE and you helped me in getting my memory presets working.
Much appreciated!
