My wife and I 2up are real close to 500lbs (ok stop laughing) and we bottom out all the time,I have a 1986 gl1200I with air shocks plus I pull a trailer,anyone have any Ideas on how I can solve this problem?

you really only have to choices, either upgrade your suspension by putting progresive shocks on, i think its the 416 shocks or rebuild your own and put progresive springs inside them, then you will need new seals and possibly boots. ive just rebuilt my shocks, and i'm impressed with the results, i'm 190lbs and joyce is 105lbs, and havent put any air in the front nor back yet, and have'nt had the trailer on yet, ive also got progressive springs for the front but have'nt do them yet,

have you air'd the shocks up to 57psi

or you could just replace the fluid and see how that helps
