It's on you to participate
I have been GWRRA since 2003.
It's been my experience that you will gleen out of the organization what you put into it...If you do not participate you will not enjoy it..but if you go to the events, local rides, and larger gatherings like state wide conventions and the annual national gathering - Wing Ding you may enjoy it more.
The GWRRA has a good message board as well and the group on there has a few annual events that are primarily focused on gathering, riding, and hanging out talking bikes....
Traveling Picnic, PIF, Great Plains Rally, Weinie Roast and several more local get togethers are some that are planned, and hosted by the active members of the message board at GWRRA without HQ involvement...
But it's up to you to show up......
