Shout Out!!

Just a quick shout out for Rick Roush Motorsports in Medina OH and for CycleMax whom we all know and love.

Now, note that I had known that my front tire was going to need replacing before the summer was out. I was just hoping that it would last a bit longer. But after only 4,000 miles on this summers trip it was starting to rain pretty hard at times and I was getting skittish about continuing on. So yesterday while in Ann Arbor MI, I figured after 24,000 miles that it was time for new skins up front. Yep,, I really ran it down to bare bones!!

So while I love to give local business's my money. I figured that since I have had tremendous success with CycleMax that I would run down to OH and give them my money rather than just any old Mother Honda Dealer. Unfortunately while it was a great ride, they do not carry tires in stock and recommended Rick Roush MotorSports in Medina OH only 20 miles away. So after drooling over their inventory and making my Christmas, birthday and other wish lists I headed on over to Rick Roush. (it was already 4 pm)

Getting to Rick's place and explaining my problem, they were absolutely booked for at least the next week. Yet the service department and the tireguy did their magic and 45 minutes later at the end of the day, I was back on the road with a new Bridgestone up front. (Fly, an actual shop who knows what they were doing)

It was awesome to see actual tread up front. Already have 60 miles of breaking in riding on it and can feel comfy in the rain again, although I can tell that next month I will need to replace the rear. :sadguy:

Anyways,, just wanted to give credit where credit is due. These guys are awesome with a great showroom, parts and service department.
:claps:

Bald tires, rain and the highway will tighten 'ya up quick.
I took a front Cruisemax down to a slick for 23K miles.
Still running the rear. It's got some life left in it.
