I like the round pegs so I can rock my feet back and forth instead of them being on a flat surface. The crash bar gets in the way when I take my feet off the stock pegs and transfer them to the front. Just takes a little extra effort that's all
The case guards on my 1100 do not have the vertical bars. is there a decent set of pegs that I can attach to the lower bars that I can adjust so that I can be comfortable. The bike came with the below ones (mine are Goldwing not VTwin, just a pic I found online to help describe) on it and are better than nothing but would like to make the ride even more comfortable for when we move up to the longer than couple of hour rides.
The Longhorn mounts pivot 360 deg and can be turned in and out. They have "teeth" on each side of the rotating surface to lock into position. Plus the pegs can be turned 360 deg depending on the angle you want them to fold up. These where not cheap, but I don't think you'll be disappointed.
