hello folks



I've been trying without any luck so far to find the special snaps that hold the lower side covers of the 1100 (1980 interstate). I need the whole assembly: male on the lid ,female in the mounting frame.

I beleive the covers are Markland.

can anyone help? or is itdiscontinued and gone forever?

if so - guess i'll just weld nutsin the holes of the mounting frame andmount the covers with bolts. Is there a simpler way?

I am sorry I cannot help but I have a question. Is that an aftermarket part(s)? I have never seen them before.

yes. it's an aftermarket accessory.
as I wrote , to my best knowledge it was produced by Markland.
in my opinion it gives the bike a more tidy, sleek look.
